Das sind Ihre Aufgaben:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Lead to manage and support our Linux and Oracle platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities, ensuring stable and efficient operations while guiding a team of system administrators and DBAs. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure and application teams, and must maintain a strong, ongoing collaboration with the Head of their area, ensuring alignment of goals and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team responsible for Linux server and Oracle database operations.
- Act as the technical point of contact for complex system and database issues.
- Ensure availability, performance, and security of Linux and Oracle environments.
- Oversee incident, request management, and projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to implement system improvements.
- Work closely with the Head of the area to align on strategic direction, priorities and resourcing.
- Manage platform upgrades, patching, and automation initiatives.
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and reporting activities.
- Promote documentation, knowledge sharing, and best practices within the team.
Das bringen Sie mit:
- Strong technical background in Linux system administration (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with Oracle database environments, including performance tuning and backup strategies.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in a production environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring, automation, and configuration management tools.
- Experience with ITIL-based service delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
